Ben Barker will contest the 2010 Australian F3 Championship, having inked a deal with frontrunner Team BRM.

The Briton, who finished in the top ten of this year's Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain, tested with Team West-Tec at Silverstone recently, but impressed BRM sufficiently during a test at Winton to earn himself a ride with the five-time Australian champions.

Barker will look to follow in the footsteps of fellow Britons Ben Clucas, James Winslow and Joey Foster, who all claimed the Australian F3 with BRM, when he lines up in the team's 2007-spec Dallara, but could begin his race career 'down under' in the more familiar surroundings of FFord, should he be able to secure an entry for the supporting events at the Albert Park F1 round in March.
