Jake Dennis will race for Italian outfit Prema Powerteam in the Formula 3 European Championship next season and the British driver believes he can push for the title in 2015.

Prema Powerteam helped Esteban Ocon secure the 2014 drivers' title and have plenty of experience when it comes to winning in Formula 3. 19-year-old Dennis impressive during his rookie season with British team Carlin, finishing ninth in the championship and third in the rookie ranking.

"I learned a lot in my first FIA Formula 3 European Championship season and want to make perfect use of what I learned to become a factor in the battle for the title with Prema Powerteam," Dennis said.

Prema team manager Rene Rosin has faith that Dennis will fit in well with the team and was delighted to have the young Brit sign. Dennis impressed Rosin with a handful of podium place finishes this season at Pau, Spa-Francorchamps and the Red Bull Ring.

"In his rookie year, Jake demonstrated that he will suit our team really well and will be able to get involved in the battle for the title. He is an aggressive but clever driver and quick at any kind of circuit."
