Felix Rosenqvist converted his free practice dominance into a pole position for race one of round two of the European Formula 3 championship at Hockenheim.

The Prema Powerteam driver, who also claimed pole for race one at the season opener at Silverstone, looked like his control of top spot was going to come under serious threat from a number of rivals as Jake Dennis, Maximillian Gunther and Antonio Giovinazzi all swapped provisional pole times.
