Felix Rosenqvist has wrestled back the initiative at Zandvoort by edging out Antonio Giovinazzi by less than a hundredth of a second in the second qualifying session.
The Prema Powerteam driver reclaimed provisional pole after the Italian driver and Jake Dennis had gone quicker in the closing stages and despite Giovinazzi's improvement in lap time he fell short by 0.009s, handing P1 to Rosenqvist who had topped both free practice sessions earlier in the day.
The pair have also locked out the front row of the grid for race one at the Dutch circuit with Giovinazzi claiming his maiden Euro F3 pole position of the season.
German F3 champion Markus Pommer also maintained his strong pace to grab his second third place of the day, while British driver Jake Dennis also doubled up in qualifying and once again joins Pommer on the second row.
Ferrari junior driver Lance Stroll put three Prema Powerteam machines inside the top five after improving late on to move above Euro F3 championship leader Charles Leclerc on the timesheet.
Alexander Albon continued his consistent top ten performances to take seventh in qualifying as George Russell, Sergio Sette Camara and Maximilian Gunther completed the top ten.
