MSA Formula Series challenger Matheus Leist is preparing to step in for the injured Nicolas Pohler in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship for Double R Racing at the Red Bull Ring this weekend.

Pohler, who is yet to score a single point in Euro F3 this year, has broken his arm in a training accident and Brazilian rookie Leist will fill in for his fellow countryman in Austria.

Leist races for Double R in the British MSA Formula Series where he has claimed race wins at Brands Hatch and Donington Park this season and is currently third in the championship.
