Felix Rosenqvist has maintained Prema Powerteam's position at the top at the end of the two-day FIA Formula 3 European Championship test at Portimao.
The Swede's team-mate Lance Stroll topped both sessions on Tuesday and it was Rosenqvist's turn to head proceedings after going quickest during the Wednesday morning session with a 1m 41.759s.
New driver to Prema Powerteam Nick Cassidy, who currently leads the Japanese F3 championship, jumped up to second on the timesheet and acted as Rosenqvist's sole challenger for the majority of the test and set the best time of the afternoon with a 1m 42.671s.
British driver George Russell ended the second day of the test in third for Carlin ahead of Motopark's Sergio Sette Camara with his team-mate Markus Pommer rounding out the top five.
Callum Ilott narrowly missed out on breaking the 1m 41s barrier to finish sixth quickest with Euro F3 championship leader Antonio Giovinazzi a tenth of a second back in seventh.
Alexander Sims, who is driving for new team HitechGP, enjoyed a productive day to finish eighth as Raoul Hyman and Pietro Fittipaldi rounded out the top ten.
