Antonio Giovinazzi has upset the Prema Powerteam train at Hockenheim by edging Jake Dennis off pole by 0.002s in qualifying two.
The Jagonya Ayam Carlin driver has found a relative return to form with pole position for the final FIA European F3 race of the year, ahead of Prema Powerteam duo Jake Dennis and new champion Felix Rosenqvist. The Italian squad stormed to a 1-2-3-4 qualifying clean out in the first qualifying race, with freshly-crowned champion Rosenqvist grabbing pole.
The HitechGP machine driven by Alexander Sims is starting to make inroads up the Euro F3 field after another impressive performance in qualifying by taking fourth on the grid with Maximilian Gunther rounding out the top five.
Thai driver Alexander Albon placed his Signature car in sixth ahead of Mikkel Jensen, Lance Stroll, Markus Pommer as George Russell completed the top ten slots.
