F3 debut for Idafar.

Formula Renault BARC racer Menasheh Idafar has enjoyed his first taste of Formula Three machinery after joining the Carlin team for two days of testing at Pembrey.

The British-born Bahraini racer hit the track in one of Carlin's National Class Dallara Mugen-Hondas for the test, with the opening day of the session running without major issues.

The second day however was hit by changeable weather conditions, with hail storms bringing his time at the wheel to an early conclusion.

The difficult conditions did at least give the 17-year-old the chance to experience the F3 machinery in both dry and wet conditions.

Idafar will now return to BARC Renault competition this weekend in the latest rounds of the season at Thruxton.
