Bratt looking to finish with win.

Will Bratt is hoping to put the seal on a solid debut season in Formula Three by taking his first win in the category at the final round of the Spanish national championship in Barcelona.

The 20-year old, who races for Emilio de Villota.com Motorsport, secured his best finish of the campaign just over a week ago when the burgeoning series visited Jerez, taking a well deserved second place finish during round 15. Now, with just the last double-header of the season remaining, he has every confidence that he'll be able to produce another strong podium performance - and would dearly love to take his first ever F3 victory before the year draws to a close.

“I've really enjoyed working with everyone at the team this year, Emilio and the rest of the guys have been fantastic,” Bratt commented, “The team is very efficient and it certainly hasn't been through any lack of commitment, effort or skill that we haven't managed to win a race so far."

Currently ninth in the overall standings, the BRDC Rising Star has been on the podium twice so far this year, and is hoping that a return visit will enable him to end the year inside the top half-dozen positions in the championship, as just eight points currently standing between him and sixth place.

“We've frequently been the fastest combination, but we've just been on the wrong side of the luck unfortunately," he noted, "We did manage to identify a brake-related problem which was solved for Jerez, so now we're all aiming to go out on a high at Barcelona with a shot at our first win in the championship.”
