Alex Sims has taken his second career Formula 3 Euroseries victory with fine drive from sixth on the grid at Paul Ricard.
The Briton finished third in the first race around the French circuit, but wasted no time in progressing during the shorter second event, quickly pushing into second position to trail early leader Roberto Merhi.
Eventually, Sims made his way past the Mucke driver on lap seven before cruising to his first victory with the ART Grand Prix team by more than seven seconds.
Race one winner Edoardo Mortara worked his way up to second position after a stunning last lap pass on both Marco Wittmann and Merhi, the Italian cementing his championship lead in the process.
Merhi was also relieved of third on the final lap by Wittmann, the German securing his second podium finish of the weekend.
Further back, Laurens Vanthoor finished fifth in the third Signature car after fighting back from the rear of the grid, while Valtteri Bottas scored the final point in sixth for ART.
