Productive test for CRS

CR Scuderia has kicked off its plans for its debut FIA GT Championship season with a productive day of testing at Snetterton.

Rob Bell, Andrew Kirkaldy and Tim Mullen were at the wheel of the teams two GT2 Ferrari F430s, which were running on Michelin tyres for the first time ahead of the new season.

Although fog meant that track action was suspended during the morning, the team was able to run through its programme once the Norfolk circuit opened for business.

"It's good to have a trouble-free run during the first GT2 test of the year," team manager Malcolm Swetnam said. "We will continue our preparations with a three day test in Spain next week, as planned."

The team will now head to the Monteblanco circuit in Spain for more testing next week.
