Full Speed announces FIA GT line-up

The Full Speed Racing team has named its driver line-up for the 2009 FIA GT Championship season after confirming it will field two Saleen S7Rs this season.

Stephane Lemeret and Michel Orts had previously signed up with the team for the new season, while deals have now been completed with Briton Luke Hines and Italian Ferdinando Monfardini which will see them complete the full-season line-up.

Monafardini and Orts will team together in the #13 entry, while the sister car will run as #11 with Hines and Lemeret onboard.

The only exception will be for the Spa 24 Hours, where Lemeret and Hines will be joined in the #11 car by Monfardini and Johnny Mowlem, who will also take on the role of test driver for the season ahead.

“We're very excited about our driver line-up and feel we have a pool of drivers who can seriously challenge for podium places in the FIA GT Championship this year,” team Manager Graham Nash said. “Our drivers all have GT racing experience and Johnny's wealth of knowledge should help to drive the team forward and will be invaluable at Spa.

“The first race of the season cannot come soon enough for us.”
