Matteo Bobbi will get back on track at the wheel of a Vitaphone Racing MC12 Maserati during the second part of the 2009 FIA GT season.
The opportunity follows positive tie-ups at the 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps in 2007 and at Zolder in 2008.
Bobbi will team-up with Alessandro Pier Guidi and his involvement will begin this coming weekend at the Hungaroring.
"Coming back to driving the MC12 is definitely a pleasure, especially together with a driver that I value as much as Pier Guidi," said Bobbi, who won the title in 2003.
"I'd like to thank Michael Bartels for this opportunity and I hope it will reward us soon with new satisfaction."
