CR Scuderia has announced the signing of Dirk Muller for this weekend's FIA GT Championship race meeting in the Czech Republic.
The team heads to Brno on the back of its maiden win in the series last time out on the streets of Bucharest, but has been forced into a driver change for the weekend due to a clash with the final round of the Le Mans Series.
With Rob Bell - who partnered Andrew Kirkaldy to victory in Romania - unavailable as he seeks to take victory for Virgo Motorsport, the team has elected to bring in Muller as his replacement, with the former WTCC racer having competed for the team earlier in the year at Spa.
“It was great having Dirk on the team at Spa,” Kirkaldy said. “Especially for a new team like CRS it is always positive to have input from other professional drivers.
“There is no reason to believe that we won't have a cracking weekend at Brno. I've had some highs and lows at Brno but I really enjoy the track and I hope we can bring home more points to help us get to that runner-up position.”
