CRS Racing has revealed that it will add an entry into the FIA GT3 European Championship to its schedule for the 2009 season.

Subject to approval from the FIA, the team will run two cars in the series this season alongside its previously announced two car Ferrari entry in the main FIA GT Championship.

"We're very excited about doing FIA GT3," team director Andrew Kirkaldy said. "We're going for a newly-homologated car which will be one of the most competitive out there in 2009. Although very few people knew about our plans before today we have already had interest from drivers. Once we have spoken to everyone interested we can work on making sure our pairings are competitive and capable of winning the Championship."
