AF Corse has announced its driver line-up for the new FIA GT Championship season as it looks to continue a run of form that has led to three straight GT2 titles.
Gianmaria Bruni and Toni Vilander, who lifted the crown last season, will return to try and defend the crown at the wheel of the #50 Ferrari 430, although the team will bring in a new partnership to run in the sister #51 car.
European GT3 racer Niki Cadei, who took part in the 2008 season finale, will be joined by Spaniard Alvaro Barba, who moves over to sportscars after spending recent years running in the World Series by Renault.
"This year, our rivals are really great and their performances are similar to ours,” team boss Amato Ferrari said, “but we will go flat out for a win as we have always done."
The AF Corse-run Pecom Racing team will also return for the new season running a car for Luiz Perez Companc and Matias Russo with the team looking to build on an impressive performance during the Sebring Twelve Hours – which it contested for the first time earlier this month.
