GT3: Qualifying times (1) – Silverstone.

Klaus Ludwig puts Carsport Callaway on pole for the first ever FIA GT3 European Championship race, lapping the Silverstone GP circuit a tenth of a second quicker than Allan Simonsen in the JMB Ferrari. Marcello Zani claims third for BMS, ahead of the Pouchelon Viper of Anthony Reid – fellow Britons Sean Edwards and Aaron Scott also finishing inside the top six.

Showing that the FIA might finally have got the equalisation rules right, there are six different makes in the top six positions.
