Actually quite looking forward to this. The pit stops should be rather entertaining with the drivers jumping from one car to the next, (hopefully Marc Marquez style!) and it's nice to see so many former F1 drivers in the line up. Should be interesting.

Some exciting drivers yeah, although I wouldn't necessarily put Piquet in that category...

The pit stops and fan boost are massive turn offs for me though. But I'll give it an honest chance!

I'm looking forward to the pit stops, however, I fear what impact they will have from a marketing standpoint. It's all well and good showcasing electronic car technologies on the race track, but if a single car can't get from A to B what will the casual observer think? Most people can't afford two cars, let alone have one conveniently placed half way to the destination they are travelling to.

This is very young technology, give it a chance :)

Bring it on! I will be watching every race and will overcome any lingering worry about lack of noise by listening to a predetermined heavy rock/metal band throughout each race. First band, selected at random: Judas Priest

He seems to have "redeemed" himself and is becoming a respected driver again. With a series chock-full of experienced drivers (including female), we should at least have some names we know to follow - unlike some other series where the drivers are complete/relative unknowns! I hope the big names don't drift away after a season or two .. it could be a good rival to Formula One.
