Can Hamilton beat Schumacher's seven F1 titles?

Lewis Hamilton charged to his fourth F1 title in 2017 in convincing fashion, breaking Michael Schumacher's pole position record in the process - so what's next?

He's keen to stay in F1 for a few more years at least, meaning that so long as Mercedes remains competitive (which it likely will), more records will probably fall.

But can he become - statistically - the greatest of all time and beat Schumacher's tally of seven F1 world titles? He's only three away...

He wants the record. Just

He wants the record. Just doesn't want to say it so early. F1 needs Vettel to win at least 1 title with Ferrari and Max to be inn the mix with RB though so we'll see how things play out over these next 2 yrs.

Looks like Lewis can, if Seb doen't settle his mental strength...But Should see how McLaren will do...and how long could mercede manage theis bars above all...Shumi suggested at one point in the future Lewis has the ability to break his records...

I don't think he will. I have

I don't think he will. I have a feeling next season will be tougher and he's going to find it harder than expected to win another title for a while, Vettel is going to be really fired up.

I think he'll be happy with what he's achieved and look for a new challenge elsewhere
