Can Renault power Red Bull and McLaren back to the front in 2018?

Rewind five years, and seeing Red Bull and McLaren battling at the front of the pack was a regular sight in Formula 1 - yet both teams have seen their form take serious hits in recent years.

As of 2018, both will be working with Renault as an engine supplier, giving them the chance - they hope - to revisit their former glories and get back to fighting for race wins and championships.

McLaren is in desperate need of a turnaround after three hard years with Honda, while Red Bull showed late in the 2017 season just how good its car is, even if the power unit wasn't up to scratch.

Renault's admitted itself it was too aggressive in its bid to try and catch Mercedes through 2017 - but with a winter to work on things, can it power Red Bull and McLaren back to the top next year? Or even plot its own championship bid with its works team?

Let us know your thoughts below :)

Really, really want it to

Really, really want it to happen as it'd make F1 more competitive and exciting but just can't see it tbh, not yet anyway.

Mercedes and Ferrari will dominate again next season
