it has to be marc, since he joined the premier class, he has surprised everyone, and has managed to win despite close rivals and a bike that is difficult to handle, still he hasn't reached his peak(as biaggi said)

I'd go with Marc based on the

I'd go with Marc based on the evidence so far, although I agree Doohan was magnificent in his time.

Honourable mention for Casey, he did stop the Honda shame and made sure they had a title in the 800 era after years of chronically sh1t bikes
