Tech 1 signs Move for '09 campaign

Double World Series by Renault team champions Tech 1 Racing have completed their 2009 driver line-up with the acquisition of Danill Move.

The Russian driver is making his return to the championship after competing for Interwetten in 2007 and starting the 2008 season with KTR, although he opted to leave just five rounds in when he wasn't satisfied with his results.

He will join Charles Pic in the team, which also won the 2007 drivers' title with Alvaro Parente, and get his first taste of the car when testing resumes in Barcelona this week.

The arrival of Move comes after Tech 1 looked to be close to a deal with Frankie Provenzano, the Italian having participated in pre-season testing with them at Jerez.

Move has a best result of fifth place, achieved at Spa-Francorchamps last season, although that is his only top ten finish in 26 starts
