Julian Theobald will make his World Series by Renault debut at Donington Park after being signed by Eurointernational for the remainder of the season.
As they did last year, Eurointernational have struggled to maintain a steadfast driver line-up, with Celso Miguez and then Jaap Van Lagen occupying the seat alongside Alessandro Ciompi so far this year.
Van Lagen raced with the team in Hungary and Belgium, but after crashing in both races at the Hungaroring, the Dutchman didn't even start at Spa when he destroyed his car during qualifying.
Also sidelined due to Porsche Supercup commitments at Monza on the same weekend, Eurointernational have instead offered the chance for Theobald to make his debut in the series.
The 22-year-old German tested for Pons Racing during the off-season and comes to the series having won last year's Formula 3 Euroseries Class Trophy Category.
