Belgian returns to GD.

Frederic Vervisch is to make a return to the World Series by Renault after securing a deal to race with GD Racing at the upcoming Estoril round.

The Belgian driver last raced for GD Racing in 2005 for selected races, although he scored no points on that occasion, his best result proving a 12th place finish.

The 21-year-old has since stepped down to the German Formula 3 Championship, where he finished the 2007 season as runner-up for JB Motorsport.

Vervisch will replace Luiz Razia in the team, who did a two race stint in the car.

Elsewhere, Richard Philippe will return to Fortec Motorsport after missing the last two rounds with an injury sustained at Spa-Francorchamps.
