Molina win under threat.

Miguel Molina's victory in the latest round of the World Series by Renault is under threat after it was revealed that he was competing under appeal following an on-track incident last time out at Estoril.

Molina, who won his maiden race in Portugal last weekend, was attributed for causing an accident in the second event and as such given a ten-place grid penalty for this weekend's season finale.

However, with Pons Racing appealing the decision, Molina was able to qualify as normal under appeal, the teenager duly placing his car third on the grid and going on to win around his home Circuit de Catalunya.

It is a win though that remains provisional until the appeal is heard and if it ultimately proves unsuccessful, Molina will be disqualified from the results.
