Draco roll with new signing.

The 2007 Renault World Series season may have just finished but Draco Racing are already planning ahead to 2008 after revealing Bertrand Baguette will fill one of their seats next season.

Baguette comes to the team after making a strong impression in his debut season driving for KTR, the Belgian's 17th place in the overall standings belying form that often saw him challenging up at the front.

As it happens, inconsistency proved to be the 22-year-olds downfall because while he qualified inside the top ten on six occasions out of nine races - with four of those starts in the top five -, Baguette only scored points four times.

Nonetheless, results, including a second place finish in the final race of 2007 at Barcelona and a third place at Donington, were enough for Draco, who took Milos Pavlovic to third in the standings this year, to snare him well in advance of the new season.

Having already tested with the team at Paul Ricard, Baguette will get behind the wheel again at Valencia next week.
