Mann to make Porsche debut.

Pippa Mann is to become the first women to compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB following the announcement that she will dovetail her outings in the World Series by Renault with a first foray into sportscars.

The P1 Motorsport driver will take part in the events at Snetterton, Oulton Park and Brands Hatch in a 2008-spec Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, which will be run by leading outfit Team Eurotech alongside its brace of Honda Integras in the British Touring Car Championship.

The 23-year old remains the only British woman to have won an international kart race prior to moving into cars in 2004 in Formula Renault – where she raced in the British Championship and the Eurocup for three seasons. In 2007 she stepped up to the World Series and will next race in Budapest the weekend before making her Carrera Cup debut at Snetterton.
