Tappy back at RC, Comtec down to one.

Duncan Tappy will make a return to the World Series by Renault grid after rejoining the RC Motorsport team for the latest round in Estoril.

The reigning British Formula Renault Champion made his debut for the team at Silverstone, but completed just one further round in Hungary before being forced to withdraw for budgetary reasons.

Replaced by GP2 refugee Paolo Nocera, it is now the Italian's turn to struggle to raise the necessary funds after just two races, prompting a last-minute return for the Brit this weekend.

Another driver change for a team that originally started the season with Borja Garcia and Aleix Alcaraz at the helm, Tappy will be well received at RC having equalled their best result of the season at the Hungaroring with a sixth place finish.

Elsewhere, Filip Albuquerque also rejoins his former Epsilon Euskadi team for this weekend, while Comtec Racing are down to just one car for Marco Bonanomi after Pasquale di Sabatino was forced to withdraw just days before the weekend.
