Oliver Webb will make a one-off return to Formula Renault 3.5 for the season opener in Monza, it has been confirmed.

For the first time since 2011, the Briton will compete for Spanish team, Pons Racing alongside their confirmed driver, Meindert Van Buuren. The Dutch rookie will hope to learn from Webb's two seasons of FR3.5 experience.

In 2011, the twenty-three year old gained five top-ten finishes in his Pons Racing model to place twenty-first in the overall standings. Following a year in Indy Lights in 2012, he rejoined the popular series last year to partner McLaren junior Stoffel Vandoorne at Fortec Motorsports.
