Jazeman Jaafar secured his first Formula Renault 3.5 podium of the 2014 season last weekend on the streets of Monte Carlo.

The Malaysian finished third behind Marco S?rensen and race winner Norman Nato, matching his position at the same circuit in 2013. Speaking following his successful weekend at the Formula 1 support race, the twenty-one-year-old acknowledged the importance of a strong weekend under the spotlight of F1.

"It's been a great Monaco weekend and I'm very happy to have achieved my first podium of the season", he said. "Racing in front of the F1 crowds adds another dimension to the occasion", he noted referencing his involvement with the PETRONAS Talent Development Programme.
