Carlin Racing has confirmed Tom Dillmann and Sean Gelael for the upcoming Formula Renault 3.5 season, signalling their return to the championship for the first time since 2013.

The announcement comes following a sponsorship deal with an Indonesian company based in Jakarta, the country's capital. 18-year-old Gelael represents his nation after a full FIA European Formula 3 season with Carlin last year and a brief stint in its British-based equivalent. Meanwhile Dillmann, an established single-seater competitor, returns to full-time racing for the first time since helping Russian Time win the 2013 GP2 championship.

"I'm very happy to be staying with Carlin for 2015," said series newcomer Gelael. "It means there will be some continuity but it's quite a step up in power from Formula 3 and we visit some amazing circuits throughout the season."

Team mate Dillmann shared similar sentiments as they await the first round of pre-season testing this year. The Frenchman replaced Tom Blomqvist at the Indonesian-backed scheme last year after failing to obtain a full-time drive in GP2.

"I am delighted to be joining Carlin for the FR3.5 season and want to thank Jagonya Ayam for the amazing opportunity," he said following the announcement in Jakarta. "I am confident that we have a good team around us and I look forward to showing what we are capable of once the season gets underway."

Carlin is the first team to confirm a completed line up ahead of the season opener at Motorland, Aragon in April. Teenager Gelael is the youngest driver on the current nine-driver grid, seven years Dillmann's junior.
