Zeta Corse has confirmed it will miss the opening race weekend of the Formula Reanult 3.5 championship in Aragon.

The Valencia-based team has been unable to nail down two full-season drivers for 2015 after initially announcing 2013 GP3 runner-up Facu Regalia for the new year. Johnny Cecotto had also contested the FR3.5 pre-season tests for Zeta but had not been confirmed as a full-time driver.

Last year current Formula 1 driver Roberto Merhi raced for the Russian squad in the championship, securing the team's first victories in the series on his way to third place in the drivers' standings.
