Oliver Rowland has taken the lead in the 2015 Formula Renault 3.5 standings after claiming a commanding lights-to-flag victory in race two at Spa-Francorchamps.

Having finished a relatively lacklustre fifth in race one, Rowland was in much stronger form in the low-drag configuration of the FR3.5 car, claiming pole position before pulling away to a comfortable victory two seconds clear of the competition.

Leading the challenge was rookie Nyck de Vries, who notched up his second podium of the season with second place, just fending off the attentions of race one winner Matthieu Vaxiviere in the Lotus.
