Two Formula Renault 3.5 teams have made big driver changes ahead of the eighth and penultimate round at Le Mans this weekend.

Nikita Zlobin steps in for Rene Binder and becomes the eighth driver Pons Racing has fielding since the first round at Aragon in April. He will be joined at the Spanish outfit by Yu Kanamaru, who is fresh from his debut at the Nurburgring earlier this month.

Zlobin, who is funded by SMP Racing, is perhaps known best for his Auto GP experience and joins the new line up after competing in the Ferrari GT Challenge.

In another significant twist to proceedings neither Bruno Bonifiacio nor Pietro Fantin are lincluded within the entry list despite the latter scoring a podium finish at Silverstone. Rookie Bonifiacio and FR3.5 veteran Fantin were season regulars until this weekend and this changes signals the first for International Draco Racing this year.

They are replaced by GP2 racer Andre Negrao. The team is owned by Negrao's father Guto and sees him return to the cockpit since his three season run ended in 2013. With just one driver now signed at the Brazilian outfit, 19 drivers are confirmed for this weekend.
