So what exactly are your credentials then alex??
I've been watching motorsport for a long time and seen some great talent go to waste due to lack of funds, so when someone like mr.chiltern and his older brother come along having way more finance than talent i find it slightly frustrating. And for your info i have held a competition licence and raced in the past and not from my armchair!

touchy touchy. I think everyone is getting a bit upset over v little. 99.9% of people in the past decade going through f3 and above have had a big family budget so making a fuss just about Chilton isnt warranted really.

You seem to be suggesting that Mr.Chilton Senior cannot spend his money as he sees fit.I am sure the various teams his sons have raced for were more than happy to take his money,I am sure the employees of those teams were happy with their pay cheques and if you care to look at the race records of the two they are not so shabby as to warrant a snide comment unlike many other guys with rich dads.Jealousy is a miserable condition!

I agree that a lot of the F3 field have family money, but a lot of those who progress beyond that have won more than one race in 3 years! Someone who has real talent is Daniel Ricciardo who turns up in his first year and walks away with the championship.
Alex it has nothing to do with jealousy, i am merely commenting on a sport that i am passionate about, if you dont like it, DONT REPLY!!!

I may be wrong but I thought that Ricciardo,an obviously talented guy, came heavily backed by Red Bull so does it make any difference whether it is a sponsors cash or a rich fathers??

Riciardo earnt his backing from red bull with his talent. If any of the red bull drivers had 3 years of F3 like chilton they would be tossed out and there backing removed! Chilton's daddy will provide regardless of his performances. looking forward to seeing him eaten alive in GP2.
