I'm curious what GP3 will do to Euro F3...

The GP3 cars have more power, have the exposure at F1 GPs, but still it will probably cost less or about the same for a driver to run in GP3 for a year.

I've read to be in a top team in F3 Euro you need to bring about 700K Euro to the table. In GP2 it's about 1MM, so I would imagine GP3 would be less than GP2 by some margin...

Another site (italiaracing.net) reports that the F3 Euro Series is set to close after 2010. Certainly the grid this year is set to be a lot smaller. There are too many series now, and F3ES and F2 seem to be suffering the most. At least if F3ES does go, British F3 will once again become the undisputed strongest F3 championship in the world.
