Why not swap both sets of drivers, and then see who we think are the best drivers in the field??
My bet Alonso will still beat them all until Redbull get the tyre they want......!!

It would be really good to see a Red bull Junior driver make it to the big team, as none of them have yet, and the team has been there for quite some time now.

Note: I never considered Vettel to be a Red Bull Junior driver as he was with BMW, and as far as I'm aware didnt get the Red Bull treatment that the current Torro Rossos have/all the guys in lower classes

Angelina, you seem to be the Vettel expert, was he sponsored by Red Bull prior to driving for STR?

Red Bull would be making a HUGE mistake giving one of the Toro Rosso guys a ride next year. No offense to Daniel or JEV, but I don't rate them anywhere near other teams #2's like Rosberg, Massa or even Webber himself...even if they drive the Red Bull car. Without a strong #2 Red Bull is risking the WCC. They need Kimi or even to keep Webber if they seriously want to compete for the WCC.

I am not talking about wdc points. What I meant was that Redbull's ideal no.2 would be a driver like Massa, a happy no. 2 not someone who finds "No Grip" in the Mclaren week in week out when his teammate beats him. LOL!

As rob has pointed out, Vettel was a RB jr driver from age of 12 ie. 2000.
Vettel was a bmw test driver in 2005 (actually williams only for a couple races), 2006 & 2007 & raced for Redbull in Euro F3 in 2005, 2006 & Fr 3.5 in 2007 b4 being STR driver.

Thus, effectively Vettel had contract with two teams during bmw days. BMW released him because they couldn't retain him thanks to his redbull contract. Vettel also had a contract with bmw till 2010 to drive their road to & from F1 tracks, & from Monaco 2011 we all know Seb has a contract with Infinity.

BTW I am not a German, not even an European & I am not an expert on Seb's pre f1 career.
