GP2 » Honda confirms F1 return


Speculation has been rife for several months, but Honda has now confirmed that it will be returning to F1....

As a honda fan i am over the moon. Good on them for expanding into many racing categories. I heard they will make a LMp hybrid prototype next year too, so along with WTCC and F1 engines they have alot on their plate!! But go Honda! and hopefully in 2015 we can see the all new NSX version tuned by Mclaren :)

Good news for Mclaren who presumably will be the only team using the engine initially. I expect Honda to have a say in who drives for them, Button and Perez will need to up their act and so will Whitmarch is he's still there. Kamui Kobayashi is on the sidelines and I'm sure Honda would like a Japanese driver. Mclaren are keen to get back to the top it seems.
