Super Nova signs Kral for GP2 Asia

Josef Kral joins Super Nova for the 2009-10 GP2 Asia series.
Super Nova has announced the signing of Josef Kral for the 2009-10 GP2 Asia series.

Kral, who will make his debut for the team in next weekend's GP2 Asia opener in Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi, first appeared on Super Nova's radar when he was fighting Marcus Ericsson for the British Formula BMW crown in 2007, eventually finishing second.

The highly promising Czech driver has since continued his winning ways in Formula Masters over the past two seasons.

"We welcome Josef Kral to Super Nova for the GP2 Asia Series," said Super Nova team principal, David Sears.

"Josef has demonstrated his considerable skills by winning races in both Formula BMW and Formula Masters and we have high hopes for him in GP2, once he has got used to the increase in horsepower and grip of driving the GP2 Asia car."

"I am delighted to have signed for Super Nova to race in the GP2 Asia Series," Kral added. "I look forward to working with one of the top teams in the championship and to deliver results as soon as possible!"
