Piquet GP will welcome two GP2 rookies to its team for the upcoming 2009-10 Asia Series after signing Vladimir Arabadzhiev and Daniele Zampieri.

The Italian-based squad finished as runners-up behind DAMS in last year's team standings with the combination of Roldan Rodriguez and Diego Nunes, but will feature an entirely new line-up for this season.

Arabadzhiev will become the first Bulgarian to race in GP2 following two successful seasons in the Formula Master series. A six-time podium winner in 2009, Arabadzhiev finished seventh in the overall standings and will follow Fabio Leimer, Alexander Rossi and Josef Kral in graduating to GP2.

Italian youngster Zampieri, meanwhile, comes to the team after being edged to the Italian Formula 3 title by Marco Zipoli.
