The brand-new GP3 Series will join the Motors TV programme schedule in 2010 as the 'High Speed Television' channel plans to screen two-hour highlights after each round of the F1-supporting single-seater series.

The GP3 Series has been designed as a direct feeder to the hugely-successful GP2 Series which has helped eleven of the drivers currently racing in F1, including the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and Timo Glock, to reach the pinnacle of motorsport.

Using Dallara chassis and Renault powerplants, the one-make formula will remain loyal to the principles of performance, cost-control, entertainment, safety and preparation that have made GP2 such a huge success.

The eight-round, 16-race inaugural season will feature seven events supporting F1's European-based Grand's Prix, including races at the Valencia Street Circuit, Silverstone, Spa and Monza.
