Wow! Top marks to the Crash.net voters for recognising real talent, even when his own team and the rest of the GP2 paddock seem oddly oblivious to it when it doesn't have a sufficiently big bag of sponsorship cash attached.

We felt genuinely sorry for the French rookie when his winning performance in the second Bahrain sprint race (adding to an impressive début in the series in the non-championship post-season GP2 Final at Abu Dhabi in 2011) was rewarded with being ousted from his race seat after less than half a season. He managed two encore performances filling in first for an ill Ricardo Teixeira at Valencia and then for a double-booked Daniël de Jong in Germany but that still meant his 2012 topped out at just 14 races despite his race pace and talent clearly showing that he deserved more outings.

Obviously it seems that we're all in agreement and pretty big fans of the Frenchman around here, and it would be great to see him rewarded with a more stable and full-time position in the series in 2013.
