Season summary:

Despite the fact that he clinched third place in the 2013 GP2 drivers championship - 'best of the rest' being a significant achievement given that the more experienced Fabio Leimer and Sam Bird were in a class of their own for so much of the season - there's a nagging sense that we were somehow expecting more from the 24-year-old from Worcestershire. As if claiming wins at Spa and Abu Dhabi to add to further podiums at Sepang, Silverstone, Singapore and both races at the Nurburgring somehow weren't enough? But it's clear that Force India's test and reserve driver is a man in a hurry and he too was frustrated by the ART car's performance at times, even if Calado himself never seemed to give less than his best.
