Trident Motorsport has agreed terms with Luca Ghiotto for the entire 2015 GP3 Series.

The pairing showed well in last month's open tests at Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina circuit, topping the times on the final afternoon of the three-day session to claim the fastest mark overall, and have now decided to pursue the 2015 title together.

"I am very happy to have Luca at Trident for the next season, having already demonstrated that we are to be able to obtain great results," team principal Maurizio Salvadori commented, "Luca's determination and speed are fundamental characteristics in order to perform well in GP3. In addition to this, we add the fact that the driver and the entire team have established a strong and productive relationship based on trust and the desire to grow together, I am sure that success will be reached very soon."

Ghiotto moves over from the Renault World Series, in which he finished 15th overall last year, to tackle GP3 full-time. He raced twice in the F1 support series last year, claiming one pole position.
