Sergey Sirotkin has joined the Rapax team for the upcoming GP2 series and says he cannot wait to get going with the Italian team.

The 19-year-old Russian will commence his rookie GP2 season after graduating from Formula Renault 3.5, where he finished fifth in the drivers' standings in 2014, notching up a victory on home soil in Moscow. "I am delighted to have reached an agreement with Team Rapax for the upcoming GP2 Series season," Sirotkin said. "The 2015 season will be a crucial one for my career. I went through some lengthy considerations about what could be the best possible choice for my future.
