Marvin Kirchhofer is to combine his European F3 campagin alongside a second consecutive season in GP3 with ART Grand Prix.

The German driver finished third in the GP3 drivers' standings last season behind British pair Alex Lynn and Dean Stoneman. The 20-year-old is also set to contest the Euro F3 series with EuroInternational.

The former ADAC Formula Masters and German F3 champion joins the already announced Alfonso Celis Jr for 2015 at ART Grand Prix, leaving the team with one race seat remaining.

"I'm really happy that I will be racing with ART Grand Prix again this year," he said. "The targets are quite clear for this season and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm very proud to be a part of the team again and I'm quite confident that we can do something good this year, as we have already shown some good performances together last year."

ART Grand Prix team manager Sebastien Philippe is hopeful the German can carry his strong form into 2015 and wrestle back the GP3 team crown which they had won in the first four years of the series.

"ART Grand Prix is proud to continue the adventure with Marvin in GP3," Philippe added. "He is a quick and complete driver who has thrilled the team with his talent and personality. In view of the results from last year, the goal will be to win the title in 2015 and regularly target pole position and victory. Marvin has all the capabilities to do this, and after a first probative season he now has the necessary experience."
