Campos Racing has become the latest GP2 Series team to confirm its drivers for the 2016 season, with race winner Mitch Evans and Sean Gelael forming an all-new line-up for the outfit.
Evans will enter into his fourth season of GP2 racing in 2016 following a successful two year stint with the Russian Time outfit, during which he scored four wins and twice finished inside the overall top five.
Gelael, meanwhile, will make the full-time move into GP2 this year after competing in a handful of races during the latter half of the 2015 season alongside a full season campaign in Formula Renault 3.5. He replaces fellow Indonesian – and Manor F1 hopeful – Rio Haryanto in the Spanish outfit, while his prominent backing will see the team rebranded as Jagonya Ayam Campos Racing.
Campos Racing celebrated three race wins in 2015 with Haryanto en route to fourth in the overall standings, while Arthur Pic ended the year 11th overall with two podium finishes.
Russian Time and DAMS are the only other teams to have confirmed a full driver line-up for 2016, though reigning champions ART Grand Prix have charged Sergey Sirotkin with defending its title.
