David Price Racing are feeling fired up for their home GP2 round at Silverstone after an encouraging outing last time out at Magny-Cours.

Having competed with their proper driver line-up of Diego Nunes and Michael Herck for the first time in France, DPR showed well in the hands of Nunes when he finished just outside the points in the first race.

A circuit the historic team know all to well, team principal David Price is excited about the prospect of racing on home ground once again, three years after they scored their first GP2 win there in the hands of Olivier Pla.

"We are really looking forward to going to Silverstone this weekend, there is a terrific atmosphere on race day and the British crowds are very vocal with their support. We love coming to our home race and it makes it extra special for us, we are hoping that a touch of the home advantage will help us to score a good result this weekend.

"Silverstone is a challenging circuit and it will be tough for our drivers to go out and be on the pace straight away, but both of them have experience here, so that will help us.

For Herck though, the latest round represents another steep learning curve after making his debut for the team in France havin recovered from a wrist injury. With that in mind, Price has modest expectations from the Romanian-born youngster this weekend.

"Michael's problems with his wrist flared up again last weekend, but he did well to come back from it and finish the second race in Magny Cours.

"He has limited experience in the GP2 car, but he showed consistency and is learning quickly, so we hope he can get two more complete race distances behind him at Silverstone this weekend."
