Abu Dhabi - Qualifying times

Oliver Turvey dominated qualifying for the final GP2 feature race of the year at Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi.
It's been two months since the GP2 cars were last in action, and it seems very strange to have them return for the season finale so long after all the championship business was decided. But a race is a race, a win is a win - and all the drivers are out for a final crack at the top podium at Abu Dhabi with as much passion as if it was the season opener.

Oliver Turvey - who will be in the McLaren for next week's tyre and rookie test sessions - dominated qualifying and had nearly half a second over the next fastest car, that of Dani Clos. Clos's Racing Engineering team mate Christian Vietoris has had to pull out after surgery for appendicitis, leaving Ho-Pin Tung as a late substitute.

GP2 series runner-up and 2011 Sauber driver Sergio Perez will start from third place, but the GP2 champion Pastor Maldonado seemed to be struggling to get back into the groove and could only manage a stodgy 15th place on the grid. Maldonado will be trying out the Williams at next week's Young Drivers' test session.
