Monaco - Race results (2)

Charles Pic won from pole position in the Monaco sprint race, easily holding off Josef Kral and Romain Grosjean from lights to flag despite having to face two restarts after safety cars.
Charles Pic became the first two-time winner of the 2011 season when he led from start to finish in the Monaco sprint race, ahead of Josef Kral and Romain Grosjean who leapt into podium positions when Stefano Coletti stalled on the grid.

A late burst by Luca Filippi put his Super Nova car into fourth place after he managed to overtake both Max Chilton and Friday's feature race winner Davide Valsecchi in the last seven laps.

Accidents claimed Kevin Mirocha and Marcus Ericsson, while technical gremlins beset Julian Leal and Esteban Gutierrez, and penalties were served on Dani Clos, Alvaro Parente, Luiz Razia, Michael Herck, Johnny Cecotto Jr. and Jules Bianchi.
